SpaceX’s first day on the stock market transformed the startup into one of the world’s most-valuable public companies, handed buyers of the IPO a 19% return and turned its founder Elon Musk into the world’s first trillionaire.

Shares of SpaceX climbed in their first day of trading on Friday after Elon Musk’s company made history with a $75 billion IPO that instantly turned it into one of the biggest public companies in the world.

SpaceX, the largest IPO to ever hit the public market, will begin trading on Friday morning. Shares of the company, which will be listed under the ticker symbol SPCX, will begin to show price indications at 9:50 a.

The hotly anticipated IPO is set to be the largest in stock market history, and is more than 7.5 times Alibaba's IPO, in second place.
